Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to help our media organization implement and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (MC) and connect it seamlessly with our existing Sales Cloud environment. This role is critical to enabling personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns and automations. While you may not handle every aspect of the project, we're seeking someone who can tackle as much of the following scope as possible.

Project

Scope & Responsibilities

Marketing Cloud Implementation
- Set up and configure Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
Integration with Sales Cloud
- Establish Marketing Cloud Connect and/or API-based integrations for data synchronization and campaign triggers.
Data Architecture & Management
- Design data extensions, manage subscriber data, and ensure proper data flow between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
Personalization & Dynamic Content
- Use SQL for segmentation and AMPscript for advanced personalization within emails and journeys.
Automation & Campaign Enablement
- Build automated workflows and customer journeys to support lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Analytics & Optimization
- Implement tracking, reporting, and performance optimization strategies for campaigns.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Document configurations, integrations, and processes for future scalability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud integration.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and AMPscript.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect.
Preferred
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification.
- Experience in media or digital marketing environments.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally.
