This role sits at the intersection of data platform, business intelligence, and applied AI, and will drive the evolution from traditional dashboards toward AI‑powered, semantic, and self‑service analytics experiences.

  • Drive migration toward a unified, metadata‑driven analytics experience
  • Define and execute the roadmap for AI‑enabled analytics (AI/BI), including natural language querying, embedded AI insights and copilots, automated insights and anomaly detection
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., LLM‑based analytics, semantic querying)
  • Ensure tight integration between a “thin” BI layer, business transformation logic (dbt), the semantic layer (dbt) and the metadata layer (Unity Catalog)
  • Partner with enterprise data governance to align on standards and policies
  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the AI/BI analytics platform
  • Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities across functions
  • Translate business needs into scalable platform solutions
  • Promote data literacy and effective use of BI tools
Requirements
  • BS degree required preferably within the Computer Science or Bioinformatics
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., biotech/pharma) preferred
  • 5‑8+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data platform roles
  • 3+ years of operational management experience
  • Experience with AI/BI or augmented analytics
  • Deep experience with at least 2 of the following:
    • Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire
  • Strong experience with:
    • Modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
