Wolters Kluwer is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Customer Trust & Assurance IT Security Manager with broad, cross‑domain cybersecurity expertise to join our Customer Trust & Assurance team. In this highly visible role, you will not only serve as a trusted security partner to sales and business development teams, but also provide leadership in shaping how we engage with customers on security, privacy, and compliance.

You will help translate our technical posture into clear, credible narratives that build confidence and enable growth.

You will lead the review and response to customer security inquiries-including questionnaires, assessments, and live customer discussions-ensuring responses are accurate, consistent, and aligned with our certifications, policies, and technical documentation. Beyond execution, this role plays a key leadership function in strengthening customer trust, setting standards for quality and consistency, and elevating how security is represented across the organization. You will also bring real‑world customer insights and emerging trends back into the business to help influence internal priorities and continuous improvement.

As a key contributor to our growth strategy, you will drive transparency, thought leadership, and proactive customer engagement, positioning trust and security as strategic differentiators in the market. Responsibilities:

* Customer Trust and Transparency:
Scale and build upon existing programs including the customer trust center, providing customers with self-service access to relevant security, privacy and compliance information.

* Customer Engagement:
Act as a trusted technical and security advisor, engaging customer security teams and IT leaders to align on their cybersecurity & Business needs. Serve as internal subject matter expert on security for the GTM team, supporting sales and account managers in client facing discussions and presentations.

* Oversee and guide various internal teams to address customers' security, compliance, and privacy needs. This includes leading the handling of questionnaires, audits, and calls with customers and prospects to ensure their concerns are addressed comprehensively and efficiently.

* Industry Thought Leadership:
Represent the company externally in security and technology conversations, shaping best practices and positioning our solutions as industry-leading.

* Go-to-Market & Sales Acceleration:
Bridge the gap between technical value and business outcomes, aligning security messaging with sales and marketing strategies to drive adoption of our products.

* Cross-functional Influence &

Collaboration:

Work closely with the engineering, legal, risk, cyber, and compliance teams to ensure our security responses are accurate and reflect our latest technical and regulatory standing.

* Security Documentation:
Maintain and update a knowledge base of our security posture, including security policies, certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), and compliance documentation.

* Continuous Improvement:
Identify trends in customer security inquiries to help improve our documentation and proactive communication strategies.

* Third-Party Risk & Due Diligence:
Support third-party risk and due diligence processes, helping customers efficiently evaluate our security posture.

* Product Roadmap Contribution:
Provide insights on emerging cybersecurity trends and customer expectations to contribute to the product roadmap.

* Security Sales Playbook Development:
Develop and standardize security sales playbooks, equipping sales teams with messaging, objection handling, and case studies, as applicable.

* Attain subject matter expert (SME)-level knowledge of the features and functionalities of Wolters Kluwer products and infrastructure. Lead the education and training of the sales organization on Wolters Kluwer's security, compliance, and privacy posture, ensuring they are well-equipped to communicate these aspects to customers. Mentor and guide junior team members in developing their expertise.

* Lead the review of security clauses in contracts and provide expert advice on Wolters Kluwer's security, compliance, and privacy measures. Ensure that contracts accurately reflect the company's security posture and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

* Take a leadership role in supporting customer compliance audits by providing necessary documentation, evidence, answering auditor questions, and ensuring that all security, compliance, and privacy measures are thoroughly documented and adhered to. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure audit readiness.
