Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VMware Tanzu & Kubernetes Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise container platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, containerization, automation, and cloud technologies, along with strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes environments.
Deploy, scale, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
Containerize applications and support their deployment into Kubernetes platforms.
Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tanzu, Kubernetes, and virtualization platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
Automate infrastructure using Power Shell, Python, YAML, and Ansible.
Manage deployments using Helm Charts and Flux, and monitor environments with Datadog.
Support networking components including NSX, AVI Load Balancers, and Palo Alto/ASA Firewalls.
Participate in capacity planning, system maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.
Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
Participate in a 24x7 support rotation when required.

Required Skills

Strong experience with VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes administration.
Experience with vRealize Automation (vRA) Pipelines, NSX, and AVI Load Balancer.
Proficiency in Power Shell, Python, YAML, and Ansible.
Experience with Helm Charts, Flux, and Datadog Monitoring.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and infrastructure management.
Experience with Palo Alto/ASA Firewalls, NAT, security policies, and firmware upgrades.
Strong understanding of SDLC, application architecture, and enterprise infrastructure.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes certifications are highly preferred.
Experience working in enterprise production environments.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to provide support in a 24x7 operational environment.
