Legal Counsel, Lawyer
We are a high-impact IP boutique representing U.S. and international clients across trademark prosecution, copyright enforcement, rights management, and federal litigation. We operate as a lean, sophisticated practice built for experienced IP attorneys who want real autonomy, direct client relationships, and meaningful work - without the overhead of a large firm.
The OpportunityThis is a substantive, hands‑on role for an experienced IP attorney ready to own a full caseload independently. You will step directly into the firm’s active practice, managing matters from inception through resolution with the support of firm leadership – not alongside them. This is not a research or support role. You will be the attorney of record on real matters from day one.
We are seeking someone with an established book of business who is looking for a stable platform with room to grow. If you have portable clients and want a home where your practice can expand, this is worth a conversation.
What You Will Handle Trademark & Copyright ProsecutionPrepare and prosecute U.S. trademark applications, respond to USPTO Office Actions, manage maintenance and renewal portfolios, and advise clients on brand protection strategy.
TTAB ProceedingsDraft and manage inter partes proceedings including oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
IP Enforcement & LitigationLead online enforcement efforts including infringement analysis, DMCA takedowns, UDRP proceedings, and cease‑and‑desist campaigns. Draft federal complaints, litigation pleadings, and coordinate strategy with local and foreign counsel.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on IP risk, enforcement decisions, and long‑term portfolio strategy – translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance that maps to their business goals.
