Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Supply Chain Planner/Coordinator provides hands‑on coordination and system execution support to ensure accurate inventory visibility and uninterrupted material availability for QC reagents and related consumables across the Cell Therapy (CT) network. This role is responsible for transactional accuracy, cycle count coordination, inventory reconciliation, and day‑to‑day issue resolution in support of Supply Planning and site operations.

The coordinator operates under the direction of Supply Chain/Supply Planning leadership and works closely with QC, Manufacturing, Warehouse/3PL, and Procurement to maintain inventory integrity. This position is an individual contributor role without people‑management or strategy ownership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute day‑to‑day inventory coordination activities for QC reagents/materials, including receipts, issues, transfers, and status updates in ERP/WMS and related trackers.
  • Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate count variances, document findings, and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies across systems (ERP/WMS/IBP, spreadsheets, and 3PL reports) to maintain accurate on‑hand, lot, and location‑level visibility.
  • Monitor lot attributes (expiry, retest, quarantine/release status, temperature requirements) and coordinate with QC/Quality on disposition, holds, and release timing.
  • Support material availability by flagging low‑stock/at‑risk items, expiring lots, backorders, and supply gaps to the planner and relevant stakeholders.
  • Own planning and replenishment execution for an assigned subset of SKUs (e.g., create/adjust planned orders, review MRP exceptions, and maintain planning master data) under the guidance of the responsible planner.
  • Serve as a backup to other planners as needed (coverage during absences, support for peak periods), including monitoring supply/inventory signals and coordinating actions with Procurement, QC, and Warehouse/3PL.
  • Coordinate inter‑site/warehouse transfers and allocations: confirm documentation, shipment readiness, chain‑of‑custody requirements, and receipt confirmation.
  • Prepare routine inventory and service‑level reporting (e.g., inventory health, expiry exposure, open orders, backorders, and cycle count performance) for site/network reviews.
  • Support investigations and deviations related to inventory events (temperature excursions, damage, mispicks, missing material), including data gathering and timely escalation.
  • Drive adherence to standard work and continuous improvement (process documentation, checklist updates, error‑proofing, and training support).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Required bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, materials coordination, warehouse operations, or supply chain execution; regulated (GMP/GDP) experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/WMS transactions (e.g., SAP/Oracle and a warehouse management system); experience with MRP/IBP concepts is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data reconciliation (pivot tables, lookups, basic data validation); comfort working with large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to follow standard work in a controlled environment.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to escalate risks and coordinate across QC, warehouse/3PL, planning, and procurement.
Role Scope & Expectations
  • Individual contributor role; no direct reports.
  • Primary focus is inventory integrity, transactional execution, and coordination, not network strategy or policy ownership.
  • Expected to operate with a high level of accuracy and timeliness; errors can directly impact lab readiness and product release timelines.
  • May support hyper‑care periods, audits, and cycle count windows that require schedule flexibility and rapid issue resolution.
  • Provides planner backup coverage and supports continuity of planning execution for assigned SKUs, ensuring no gaps in critical replenishment and issue escalation.

50% onsite required.
