  • Direct day-to-day forecasting, planning, and end-to-end clinical supply chain activities across assigned compounds, assets, and studies
  • Ensure high-quality execution of planning, supply readiness, and asset/study support
  • Recognize and address technical and regulatory issues affecting clinical development objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, stakeholders, and clinical leadership to deliver supply solutions and operational excellence
  • Support CSC leadership in collaboration, coordination, performance, and execution of support for assigned assets/studies
  • Contribute to a data-enabled Clinical Supply Lead ecosystem integrated with common systems, tools, emerging technologies, and AI
  • Execute strategic direction for clinical asset planning and align asset/study plans with established strategy
  • Oversee clinical supply planning and support continuous improvement of team execution
  • Provide guidance to matrix team members and strengthen clinical supply planning capabilities
  • Serve as single point of accountability and primary Clinical Supply Chain contact for assigned compounds and studies
  • Prepare materials for governing bodies and stakeholders and provide subject-matter expertise for asset-related decisions
  • Analyze asset/study KPIs and performance metrics and recommend enhancements
  • Resolve issues and escape higher-impact risks to leadership
  • Lead matrix teams in developing integrated cross-functional strategies, resourcing, and implementation plans
  • Ensure continuous supply and timely delivery of quality investigational product
  • Oversee supply forecasts for complex studies using clinical development plan and protocol analysis
  • Monitor inventory and drug utilization against forecasts, considering country requirements and logistical timelines
  • Partner with GDO and Finance on the CD&OP process, Demand Alignment meetings, and Supply Review meetings
  • Manage risks and escalations across assigned assets/studies
  • Support budget inputs and tracking in coordination with CSBS
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • 10+ years clinical supply chain or related operational planning/leadership experience
  • Experience in multiple functional areas, including clinical, regulatory, and quality
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical development
  • Knowledge of all phases of drug development and relevant functions and processes
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Extensive knowledge in planning, forecasting, and execution of investigational materials supply strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional people/teams to accomplish clinical supply goals within established timelines using approved processes
  • Experience leading and managing change in a dynamic, complex environment
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience monitoring key milestones in the global clinical supply process
  • Strong background in cGxPs and ICH requirements
