Summary

The Director, Marketing & Launch Digital Operations, Worldwide Commercialization Excellence (WCx) will be pivotal in advancing BMS’s Rewire Marketing approach, championing the development and execution of a best-in-class, AI-driven marketing digital platforms. This leader will shape, drive, and implement the marketing technologies needed to realize our AI Commercialization vision. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Launch Excellence, the role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, especially around commercial launches, Marketing fundamentals and digital expertise.

This individual will be responsible for leading the adoption and embedding across brand team of innovative digital/AI capabilities to support brand teams in decision making.

This role will also work closely across the brand teams, AOR and other 3rd party partners to identify innovative digital tools that integrate into key business process and further support brand teams in effective and accelerated decision making to shape brand strategy aligned to re-wiring marketing. This role will closely partner with the Senior Director of Brand & Launch Excellence, Executive Director of E2E Marketing AI Integration, IT and priority brand teams.

The role will have 2 direct reports that focus on the evolution of the Launch Excellence Playbook along with a team of SAM AI (Strategic Asset Management AI Platform) Content Managers.

Success in this role hinges on an ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, influence stakeholders at every level, and balance commercial priorities with technical requirements to accelerate marketing performance and position BMS as a leader in AI/digital driven commercialization.

Responsibilities
  • Set the vision, identify and develop innovative digital solutions that enable brand teams to accelerate decision making
  • Evolve the Launch Excellence Playbook to integrate additional AI learning skills
  • Lead the Launch Excellence operations team to ensure timely onboarding of new brand teams, metric reports.
  • evolve the Launch Excellence Playbook to include key analogs based on prior launches, e.g. financial costs for deliverables, best practices across launch scenarios
  • Partner with brand leads to source, train and manage leased workers that support the launch management of priority brands
  • Manage partner Bee Line that supports leased workers Drive the adoption of SAM Ai across the Commercialization organization.
  • Develop the cadence of onboarding new brands Evolve SAM AI to continue to elevate the capabilities based on brand team feedback Train, manage the SAM AI Content Managers (4 headcount in addition to 2-4 leased workers) ensuring documents are managed, QCed and meet the established criteria
  • Partner with brand teams to understand unmet needs to integrate into future platforms
  • Leverage our approved AORs to introduce advanced digital capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and partner with external agencies/consultants
  • Excellent financial management Lead and mentor direct reports
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in business, marketing, technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial marketing or commercialization roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
