Job Description:

Withum’s Tax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, counting our affiliation with HLB international, allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere.

Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services. As a Tech & Emerging Growth Tax Senior Manager based out of our California, New Jersey, or New York City offices, you'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

Achieving associated growth goals in revenue, team head count and key ecosystem relationships

Being a focal point for collaboration, coordination and communication with your team and the national practice

Identifying and leading a coordinated, cross functional team to pursue technology and emerging growth opportunities

Assisting with establishing and achieving specific revenue and service growth goals for the region

Actively participating in strategy sessions, marketing calls and events with the regional and National technology team Working with industry, service line engagement teams to ensure appropriate resources and deliverables are provided to our technology clients

Providing routine insight in to the technology landscape and your associated clients based on your relevant and tangible experience and communicate it to firm leadership. Ensure you are ever aware of your technology clients position, personnel, activity, issues and challenges in order to provide support

Providing thought leadership

Actively participating in and contributing to the industry and service line leadership providing perspective and commentary on areas of opportunity and challenge

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution CPA, JD, LLM or MST required

Minimum of 8+ years of professional services experience required

Extensive experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filing entities and ASC 740 tax provisions

Industry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plus Demonstrated strategic leadership. Defining market opportunities, creating a strategic plan, process and deployment capabilities
