Assistant Production Manager

Mavuno Harvest is seeking a Assistant Production Manager to support our manufacturing operations for dried fruit and nuts. This role requires a punctual, ambitious individual with a knack for mechanics, good managerial skills, and a willingness to learn. A candidate should embody our motto:

• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
• Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations.
• Support production staff, provide training, and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

• Punctual, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Ambitious and willing to contribute to operational growth.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours based on production needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or certifications are a plus.
• Able to work 2nd shift or weekends when needed.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in manufacturing with knowledge of food safety is preferred
• Organizational and managerial skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Prior work experience in the field is not required for a candidate who can demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and an ability to learn.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
