Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift

The Shift Supervisor leads manufacturing operations by setting direction for the shift, driving performance, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of the production plan. Working closely with the Production Manager and Shift Leads, this role aligns resources, manages priorities, and partners with cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues. The Supervisor maintains a strong floor presence, coaching and developing team members while proactively addressing risks that could impact safety, quality, or delivery.
Success in this role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, proper use of PPE, and accountability for consistent standard work and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and oversight for ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, scanning discipline, and compliance with safety, GMP, and traceability standards.
- Set performance expectations, monitor ASRS KPIs (accuracy, uptime, error rates), and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Lead inventory accuracy efforts by overseeing cycle counting, reconciliation, discrepancy investigations, and ensuring SAP/WMS transaction discipline and FIFO compliance.
- Ensure controlled inventory processes meet all documentation, storage, and movement‑tracking requirements.
- Direct the kitting strategy to ensure accurate, timely, and complete kits aligned with production priorities, while standardizing workflows for efficiency and traceability.
- Oversee end‑to‑end material flow—from receiving through ASRS to production, removing bottlenecks, optimizing labor and equipment use, and ensuring smooth communication across all shifts.
Salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, plus a comprehensive rewards package that includes annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and additional benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing‑related education preferred.
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in bulk chemicals, compounding, or liquid processing.
- 1–2+ years in a lead or supervisory role, or equivalent experience coordinating teams and results.
- Strong decision‑making and prioritization skills in fast‑paced environments, with proven team leadership.
- Proficiency with MES, SAP/WAC, KPI tracking, and visual management systems, along with solid GMP and safety knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability in coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and cross‑functional communication, with a proactive, company‑focused mindset.
