Full‑Time Registered Nurse – Hospice, Essex County. As a Full‑Time Staff Nurse Hospice serving Essex County, you’ll assess patient needs, manage symptoms, create individualized care plans, and support families through the end‑of‑life journey.

• Complete a two‑week orientation focused on hospice care practices, EMR systems, and safety protocols.
• Assess patients with advanced illnesses and create individualized hospice care plans.
• Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients and families as they navigate the end‑of‑life journey.
• Collaborate closely with VNA clinicians and external providers to ensure seamless, compassionate care.
• Document patient status updates and adjust care plans as needs and goals evolve.

• RN with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Nurse and critical‑care skills preferred.
• 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Working indoors/outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; car and valid NJ Driver’s license. Job characteristics: client/customer contact.

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $60,000.00 to USD $. The range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add‑on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
