Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem RN (Registered Nurse) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH)’ outpatient ECT suite.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a brain stimulation therapy. It uses a mild electrical current to produce a brief seizure. Electrical stimulation causes chemical changes in the part of your brain that regulates mood and emotion.

• The per diem registered nurse works closely with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
• The nurse focuses on expanding the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of assigned patients.

• Minimum of 3 shifts per month 7am-2:30pm. (The per diem RN may leave earlier once their assignment is completed).
• You must work one shift either before or after a holiday.
• No weekends required.

Princeton House Behavioral Health Outpatient ECT (1000 Herrontown Road, Princeton, NJ).

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of.
• Related
  
  Work Experience:
  
  3-5 years of PACU/OR, critical care & psychiatric experience required.
• Licensure, Certification or Registration:
  Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required;
  Active RN NJ license required.
• Age‑Specific Knowledge &
  
  Skills:
  
  Compassionate nurse with knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet patients’ physical, psychological and social needs for a population of adults (18–65+).

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
