Nursing Assistant

Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing at Princeton seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support clinical leadership in our post-acute, skilled nursing, and long-term care center. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will help oversee daily nursing operations, supervise and mentor staff, and ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include supporting care planning, monitoring clinical outcomes, reinforcing regulatory compliance, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations in a post-acute and skilled nursing setting
• Supervise, coach, and schedule nursing staff to ensure safe staffing levels and high-quality care
• Support development and implementation of individualized care plans for diverse post-acute and long-term care residents
• Monitor clinical outcomes, participate in QI/QA initiatives, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate transitions of care and optimize resident outcomes
• Foster a compassionate, patient-centered culture emphasizing dignity, respect, and open communication with residents and families
