Senior Laboratory Technician

Contract

$25-30/hr

M-F 8:30 - 4:30

• BS Degree in any related Science (Chemistry Degree preferred but Life Sciences is ok)
• At Least 6 months of lab experience in home care, personal care or any science related industry
• Preference is for experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.) and proficiencies with using an analytical balance and mixing
• Must be comfortable with Lab upkeep - e.g. logging in ingredients and lab maintenance and clean up
• Some Batching experience a plus
• Must be comfortable with some routine work (e.g. weekly studies)
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, high priority environment
• Must be able to work under Chemist’s direction with attention to detail
• Strong Work Ethic
• Willingness to Learn, shows interest, energetic personality!

• Support Scientists in exploring new technologies and new methods for transformational Pet care products
• Prepare pet care litter and additive product prototypes, perform prototype evaluations, conduct stability testing and other laboratory experiments
• Support Chemist with day to day laboratory and consumer experience related tasks
