Salary RangePDRA: $65,000 - $68,000, ARS: $75,000 - $86,000
DescriptionThe Princeton Materials Institute (PMI) invites applicants for postdoctoral or more senior research positions. Individuals with evidence of experience in scholarly research and a strong commitment to excellence in education are encouraged to apply. We are interested in candidates who have an interest in:
- Advanced Manufacturing and Integration of Scalable Structures
- Soft and Living Materials
- Natural and Engineered Materials for Energy, Environment and Sustainability
- Optical Materials and Light Matter Interactions
- Quantum Materials Science
A PhD in Materials Science, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Bio Engineering or related area is required.
The term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments.
This position is not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B visa requiring consular processing; other visa sponsor ships (including H-1B visas not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate.
