Ligan Binding Research Scientist – Clinical Research

Syneos Health is a leading life sciences services organization that supports research teams across the drug development continuum. We are seeking a Ligan Binding Research Scientist to coordinate and perform full-spectrum bioanalytical method development and validation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, validate and optimize bioanalytical methods using analytical techniques.
  • Process, analyze and interpret bioanalytical data.
  • Find solutions to problems related to the application of bioanalytical methods.
  • Assist in improving laboratory activity processes (method development, validation and sample analysis).
  • Write and review bioanalytical method Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review scientific literature to guide the development of bioanalytical methods.
  • Document activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
  • Assist with the training of employees related to research and development and validation.
  • Assist in competitive intelligence by developing and testing new analytical instruments.
  • Coordinate the resources used during the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
  • Carry out support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
  • Perform all biological sample processing and analysis activities as required.
  • Supervise the work of associate research scientists as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science.
  • Alternate certification may be considered as a suitable alternative.
  • Experience in a regulatory context will be considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
  • Demonstrated scientific problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in literature research.
  • Required bilingual English proficiency for technical communication and reporting.
  • Applicants without required training or experience may be considered under alternative criteria.

Salary Range

The base salary range reflects Syneos Health’s expected lower and upper figures for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on candidate qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency.
