Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and carry out the full spectrum of activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods according to client requests and within required time frames.
  • Develop, validate and optimize bioanalytical methods using analytical techniques.
  • Process, analyze and interpret bioanalytical data.
  • Find solutions to problems related to the application of bioanalytical methods.
  • Assist in improving laboratory activity processes, including method development, validation, and sample analysis.
  • Write and review bioanalytical method Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review scientific literature to guide the development of bioanalytical methods.
  • Document activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
  • Assist with training of employees related to research and development and validation.
  • Assist in competitive intelligence by developing and testing new analytical instruments.
  • Coordinate resources used during the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
  • Carry out support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
  • Perform all biological sample processing and analysis activities as required.
  • Supervise the work of associate research scientists.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science.
  • Alternate certification may be considered as a suitable alternative.
  • Experience in a regulatory context is considered an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
  • Strong scientific problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in literature research.
  • Required bilingualism in English, including verbal and written communication on technical topics.
  • Candidate may be considered under different criteria if they do not possess the required training and/or experience.
