Ligan Binding Research Scientist - Clinical Research
The candidate will coordinate and carry out the full spectrum of activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods according to client requests and within the required time frames.
Responsibilities- Develop, validate and optimize bioanalytical methods using analytical techniques.
- Process, analyze and interpret bioanalytical data.
- Find solutions to problems related to the application of bioanalytical methods.
- Assist in improving laboratory activity processes (method development, validation and sample analysis).
- Write and review bioanalytical method Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review scientific literature to guide the development of bioanalytical methods.
- Document activities related to development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
- Assist with training of employees related to research and development and validation.
- Assist in competitive intelligence by developing and testing new analytical instruments.
- Coordinate resources used during the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
- Carry out support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
- Perform biological sample processing and analysis activities.
- Supervise the work of associate research scientist.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Alternate certification may be considered as suitable alternative.
- Experience in a regulatory context is considered an asset.
- Demonstrate good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
- Skills in scientific problem solving.
- Experience in literature research.
- English level: bilingual communication verbally and in writing on technical topics, and writing procedures or technical reports.
- Candidates who do not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.

Salary RangeThe base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
