Clinical Research - Ligand Binding Analytical Scientist I

The Analytical Scientist I is responsible for supporting routine sample analysis while becoming familiar with established procedures and SOPs in the laboratory.

• Perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples.
• Document the activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying various documents.
• Initiate analysis runs using the appropriate instruments and software.
• Follow up on result analysis and assist in finding solutions to bioanalytical issues.
• Assist in eliminating the chemical and biological waste generated by laboratory employees and help clean laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
• Perform activities in compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies, standard operating procedures, operating guidelines, and other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's or College Degree in Science.
• Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
• Basic understanding of the requirements of analytical chemistry.
• English level (Quebec specific); required bilingualism includes understanding simple messages and following basic instructions.
• Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable.

Salary range: $35,600.00 - $60,400.00
