Ligand Binding Biomarker - Sr. Analytical Scientist
Job Responsibilities- Perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples.
- Participate in developing and validating bioanalytical methods.
- Document the activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying various documents.
- Assist in reviewing bioanalytical and method SOPs.
- Initiate analysis runs using the appropriate instruments and software.
- Follow up on result analysis and assist in finding solutions to bioanalytical issues.
- Assist with the integration and revision of data using specialized computer applications.
- Assist in eliminating the chemical and biological wastes generated by laboratory employees and help clean laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Participate in the training of new employees.
- Assist the Supervisor Bioanalysis in the management of bioanalytical projects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for the laboratory.
- Act as a resource person for the team to ensure smooth conduct of bioanalytical activities in the laboratory.
- Perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
- Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s or College Degree in Science.
- Good understanding of bioanalytical processes used in the laboratory.
- Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
- Knowledge of chromatography software.
- Experience in regulatory context.
- English level (Quebec specific); required bilingualism includes understanding simple messages and following basic instructions.
- Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.
- Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable.

Salary Range: $56,400.00 - $95,900.00
