About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our Food Services team in creating memorable dining experiences for groups of 100–400 guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated culinary team, volunteers and aspiring young adults
  • Oversee menu planning, food production, purchasing, and cost control
  • Develop creative menus for seasonal and special events
  • Maintain kitchen safety, cleanliness, and food quality standards
  • Collaborate with Guest Services and Dining Hall staff for seamless service
What You Bring
  • Experience as a Head Chef, 1st Cook, or Kitchen Manager (resort, camp, or banquet experience an asset)
  • Culinary Red Seal or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, time management, and team‑building skills
  • A passion for hospitality and serving others
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, close‑knit community
  • Alignment with Young Life’s Christian values
