Retail Sales, Sales Associate/Assistant
Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store (SiS) are integral to the Retail Team, bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy, excitement, and high‑traffic engagement while building deep customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities- Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment.
- Use digital tools and self‑serve options to educate customers on T‑Mobile solutions.
- Identify customer needs and apply solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate product value.
- Recommend wireless and onboarding solutions, guiding customers through the T‑Mobile app and self‑serve options.
- Complete training on the in‑store experience, new skills, products, systems, and reference resources.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of promotions and Hub updates to stay customer‑ready.
- Participate in partner store activities, skills practice, knowledge sharing, and store operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Secure kiosk cabinets, manage keys and assets, and report lost items.
- Build rapport, trust, and loyalty with each customer interaction.
- Proactively identify potential customers, manage referrals, “Be Back” processes, and price overrides for specialty offers.
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to support customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum 6 months of customer‑service or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Coaching, communication, consultative selling, customer education, and engagement skills.
- Strong customer needs identification, referral, and satisfaction management.
- Leadership, product knowledge, relationship building, sales, prospecting, and sales techniques.
- Minimum age 18 and legitimate U.S. work authorization.
Hourly base pay of $19.50 plus $5.00 training pay. Within 90 days, eligible for hourly training pay; after completion, promotion to Mobile Expert with an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Total guaranteed earning potential is $20/hour inclusive of base and incentives.
