Due to our continued growth, McCaffrey's is currently seeking a Cake Decorator. The preferred candidate will have previous experience in a supermarket bakery and have the flexibility to work varied shifts.

May be positioned to work in the following counties:
Bucks and Montgomery in PA and Mercer County in NJ.

Job Summary – Cake Decorator

• Experienced cake decorator with full range of skills from basic cake design to custom cakes and tiered cakes
• Answer phone and take custom orders
• Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service
• Serves the customer in a friendly manner
• Job required high volume of work during holiday seasons
• Cleaning equipment and making sure floor is clean and safe
• Must work well with others and be able to work with customers.
• Other assignments as directed by supervisor

Physical Demands:

• Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty without restrictions
• Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
• Work in hot temperature environment
• Work safely around ovens
• Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 50 pounds
• Safe in every action taken; lifting only in the appropriate manner
• Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.

Skills Requirements:

Friendly personality and "customer service" mentality.

Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.

Good verbal and written communications skills in English with reasonable proficiency

Good team player; able to work with fellow associates to achieve goals

Possess some baking experience in a retail or commercial establishment

Rolled fondant work a plus

Work assigned schedule

Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and substance abuse free

Must be 18 years of age
