Zone Lead (Full-Time)

Pay: $15.92 - $18.89/hr

The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Assistant Store Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones, maintaining an active selling culture by ensuring all visual aspects are set and upheld to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The ZL provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, fixturing, and implementation of all in-store marketing elements (signs, vignettes, endcaps, tables, first look/flash finds) that reinforce seasons/holidays and in-store promotions within their designated areas.

The role influences store Team Members to be knowledgeable about visual merchandising and visual standards while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The ZL is expected to lift, carry, and move merchandise in a warehouse-format store, stocking as required.

• Support all aspects of the visual merchandising process including planning, transitioning, and resetting store displays to maintain visual integrity and inspire guests.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly workload and tasks delegated by the Assistant Store Manager to meet visual merchandising, department, and store sales goals and guest engagement objectives.
• Participate in all freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• Sort freight, stock product in designated areas, perform down stocking and end‑cap maintenance while keeping zones neat and organized.
• Assist the store team with customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and customer experience, and participate in regular meetings/huddles on these topics.
• Serve as a role model and coach in all areas related to visual merchandising, providing continuous learning opportunities.
• Communicate and train visual priorities and create visual moments that support the customer experience during daily interactions.
• Review the store’s financial and business data from the store scorecard, including sales and expenses, and act within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• Ensure the maintenance of a neat, clean, and organized zone with current signage and set designs.
• Perform other duties assigned based on business needs.
• Provide open availability, including nights and weekends.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills with clear communication.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., team lift 100 lbs., and regularly move merchandise throughout the store.
• Ability to use hands and arms for tasks, stand or walk for prolonged periods, and bend, climb, and reach as needed.
• Strong attention to detail in standards, processes, and marketing.
