Overview
First American’s Direct division provides comprehensive title insurance protection and professional settlement services for real estate purchases, refinances, and equity loans. This role supports the sales strategy for an assigned territory by building and maintaining a high‑quality client base.
Key Responsibilities- Build and nurture client relationships, securing new orders from new customers and expanding business with existing clients.
- Compile prospect lists from networking, websites, trade shows, and other sources to generate sales leads.
- Develop and execute sales plans for qualified real estate professionals, lenders, and attorneys.
- Assess client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at real‑estate industry events and community functions.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to create local marketing content and enhance brand awareness.
- Create and deliver presentations to customer groups, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with operations, marketing, and escrow branches to support client needs.
- Respond promptly and proactively to client inquiries.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of successful residential title/real‑estate industry sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent listening and customer‑needs assessment abilities.
- Diplomacy, tact, and the ability to influence others.
- Persistence, tenacity, and consistency in pursuing revenue opportunities.
- Flexibility to adapt strategies to changing conditions.
- Market awareness and the capability to identify opportunities and threats.
- Negotiation skills and professional presentation competence.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and positive company image.
