Bentley Truck Services is a full‑service commercial truck dealership in the Delaware Valley with locations in North East Philadelphia, South Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and Miami, Florida. The company offers commercial truck leasing, truck rentals, new and used truck sales, parts and service and is an authorized dealer for Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Autocar, Workhorse and UD Trucks.
We are seeking retail truck sales representatives for openings in the Philadelphia area. Candidates will be responsible for new and used medium‑duty commercial truck sales in the assigned territory.
What You’ll DoCandidate will develop sales for new and used trucks, promote other products sold by Bentley Truck Services in the assigned geographic territory, and maintain new and existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities- Develop relationships with existing customers to service their new and used truck purchasing needs and ensure proper service by all departments.
- Identify prospects in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Plan and organize an effective weekly action plan to contact existing accounts and prospects.
- Assemble quotations for customers based on specific needs, working with vendors and OEM manufacturers; meet company profitability and market‑share goals while assembling proposals. Communicate competitive situations to management.
- Participate in sales functions as required by management to promote Bentley Truck Services.
- Update the CRM with sales calls and daily activity.
- Cross‑sell and promote related products and services, and report market information to the manager in a timely manner.
- Participate in OEM training as required by each represented brand.
- Minimum of 2 years retail truck sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or associate’s with 5+ years experience.
- Very strong customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to travel to customer and prospect locations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and future random drug screens.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong compliance knowledge in the industry.
Compensation includes salary, commissions, car allowance and medical benefits.
Reports to:
Director of Sales.
