- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical methods for the characterization and performance evaluation of a diverse range of materials relevant to perfumery, taste and nutrition applications
- Contribute to a variety of innovation programs, as analytical lead or project manager, and generate relevant insights for the development of science-based solutions
- Build and manage strategic scientific relationships with internal and external research and business partners
- Communicate project results and analytical insights to stakeholders and document findings in internal reports and, where relevant, external publications
- Leverage technical expertise and scientific network to explore new technologies and propose expansion of Analytical Sciences capabilities
- Manage a small team of one to two analytical chemists, including resource planning, performance review, individual development, and coaching

- PhD in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s in Science with at least 10 years of experience
- 3+ years of people management experience in a Research & Development laboratory setting
- Expertise in volatile and non-volatile analysis using a wide range of techniques including GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS
- A curious approach to problem‑solving, fueling innovation by seeking new solutions and perspectives
- Ability to lead and manage projects/teams of significant scope and complexity, while meeting all deliverables and timelines
- Strong collaborative and interdisciplinary mindset with excellent communication skills, networking and influencing abilities
Salary $140,000–$160,000. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
