Overview Responsibilities
- Record and analyze data; draw conclusions and make recommendations for next steps
- Propose experimental designs for prototypes and test methods
- Evaluate new technologies for use in products/prototypes
- Participate in technical meetings to contribute in the development process, provide technical input, provide input to the status of deliverables and project timelines
- Create, update, and maintain electronic files
- Executing product development activities in the Home Care R&D group with a focus on household cleaning products, ingredients, and consumer product regulations
- Under the supervision of a Home Care R&D manager, develop product samples/prototypes in the laboratory, developing and executing test methods, compiling data and reports to make recommendations in a manner consistent with the C&D R&D Core Principles of teamwork, consumer and customer focus, personal responsibility and integrity, and ethical behavior and practices
- Stay in communication with the team and daily supervisor to understand latest work priorities and expectations
- Depending on the individual's capacity, support new product innovation or claim support activities
