Position Summary
The Research Investigator supports the execution of Clinical Pharmacology activities, collaborating closely with departmental mentors to contribute to assigned projects. This role plays an active part in trial‑level activities and the advancement of compounds across relevant therapeutic areas. Leveraging expertise in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, the individual applies model‑based analyses to generate insights that inform and support drug development decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to compound development and design of clinical studies across various therapeutic areas with supervision.
- Contribute to clinical development strategies of pipeline products with supervision.
- Develop proficiency in PK, PK/PD, and Model Informed Drug Development (MIDD) principles and analyses.
- Contribute to acquisition and interpretation of PK/PD data.
- Participate in interactions with health authorities.
- Contribute to modeling and simulation plan.
- Collaborate on cross‑functional drug development teams, regulatory submissions, and departmental initiatives.
- MS, PhD, or PharmD in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of current practices and issues in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to report on and deliver scientific presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team‑oriented environment.
- Programming experience highly desired (e.g., NONMEM, R, Win Nonlin, SAS, S‑plus).
- Basic quantitative data analysis, POP PK/PD, and data visualization skills highly desired.
Princeton – NJ – US: $122,460 – $148,392. The starting compensation range for this role is listed above for a full‑time employee basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available.
