Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances – Global Medical Oncology Portfolio & Alliance Strategy at Bristol Myers Squibb.

• Reporting to the Senior Director, Alliance Strategy, you will support long‑range, portfolio‑shaping collaborations aligned with BMS oncology strategy.
• Managing priority alliances alongside Directors of Strategic Alliances and ensuring alignment with oncology/hematology portfolio priorities and long‑range strategy.
• Providing support and oversight for SPARC external thought‑leader council & alliances strategy, governance, communications and engagement, garnering insights that inform portfolio decisions.
• Managing strategic engagement with priority academic partners, including joint data‑generation roadmaps and co‑development of proposals.
• Ensuring alliance‑derived insights are integrated into key oncology decision forums (e.g., portfolio prioritization, MEG, CDP, GPT) to influence asset strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.
• Advancing BMS’ organizational knowledge of key alliance partners’ capabilities.
• Serving as liaison to Professional Societies and Portfolio Strategy Teams to support key professional societies and congresses.

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.) in a scientific discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in oncology drug development, medical strategy, portfolio strategy, or related roles, with exposure to multiple tumor types or hematological malignancies and/or therapeutic modalities.
• Credibility engaging senior external experts, academic investigators, and oncology thought leaders, with ability to translate external insights into strategic recommendations.
• Strong understanding of oncology development pathways, biomarkers, and decision‑making frameworks across early and/or late‑stage development.
• Proven ability to lead strategically, influence without authority, and drive alignment across highly matrixed global organizations.
• Track record of cross‑functional collaboration to execute and deliver results in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Fluency in digital tools, emerging technologies, and AI applications, leveraging these capabilities across projects, daily tasks, and decision‑making.
• HQ‑based position with approximately 10% travel.

Princeton – NJ – US: $131,330 – $159,135 (full‑time employee basis). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final compensation determined by experience.
