Job Description

We are looking for a hands‑on Full-Stack Solution Architect & Developer with extensive experience driving innovative technology solutions and leading complex projects across diverse domains like Investment Banking, Insurance, Securities, and Foreign Exchange. Needs to be proficient at bridging business visions with pragmatic approach and cutting‑edge open‑source technology to deliver scalable, low latency, high performance, secured enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in designing and implementing end‑to‑end system architectures, optimizing system integrations, skilled in hybrid cloud computing and digital transformation initiatives in Investment Banking (Front/Middle/Back‑office applications).

• Provide multiple concurrent project solution architecture guidance, best practices, and design direction
• Hands‑on solution pilot development and guidance through to MVP release
• Implement governance and controls process to ensure intake, prioritization, and effective status communication
• Work with multiple technology and project teams including business application development, corporate enterprise architecture, and infrastructure support teams
• Implement process for creation and maintenance of business application platform lifecycle roadmaps as part of the governance process
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, front office risk and analytics teams to craft elegant solutions to front office trading requirements
• Provide mentoring to junior and senior staff

• Strong, hands‑on large scale, multi‑tenant application development experience
• Effective communication skills to interact with business and senior management

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or associated areas
• 15+ years of experience in a large financial services organization including 8+ years of experience in a Leadership or Architect role
• Extensive experience with C++, C#, .NET Framework, Java, React, JQuery, Node.
  
  JS, Spark, Spring Frameworks, Kafka, MQ, Oracle, SQL Server
• Microservice/RESTful API based application development using full‑stacks - Spring Boot (Java, React, RDBMS)
• Design for auto‑scaling, self‑healing, rolling upgrades, containerized microservice cloud‑native applications
• Low latency & high performance computing system design & implementation
• Event‑driven system design & implementation (message brokers like Kafka, IBM MQ)
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies and roles

Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote. Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8am to 5pm).

$125,000 - $215,000 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
