Senior Developer – AWS Cloud‑Native (Node.js / Type Script)

Princeton, NJ (2 days hybrid per month)

Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

W2 only OR IC.

Client is seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud-native application development and Type Script to support the design and development of their platform. In this role, you will work closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will contribute to technical design decisions, develop high-quality backend services, and help ensure engineering has best practices across the team.

• Strong experience in Node.js and Type Script development
• Strong experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS
• Experience developing serverless applications on AWS, including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with SQL and/or No
  
  SQL databases, with PostgreSQL preferred
• Strong knowledge of ECMAScript (ES6+)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (Git Lab preferred)
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment
