Veeva CRM Admin/Developer – Field Enablement

Position Summary:

This role is for a Veeva CRM administrator and developer with strong hands‑on technical administration, UIX and development experience in Veeva CRM. The focus is on configuration, minor customizations, security models, custom components, and integration with  Service or Sales Cloud. The candidate will lead the design, build, and deployment of AI‑based solutions and maintain best practices across the SDLC.

Responsibilities
  • Hands‑on technical administration and development of  Service or Sales Cloud (configuration, minor customizations, security models, profiles, objects, pages, Veeva My Insights, components, workflows, triggers, flows, permission sets, reports/dashboards, and data loader).
  • Rapidly learn new technologies, self‑contribute, and lead initiatives.
  • Actively engineer AI‑based solutions and enhance daily work.
  • Build and leverage reusable code libraries for global harmonization and future extension.
  • Partner with the testing team to ensure applications and components are fully functional.
  • Review, track, and fix defects or performance problems discovered in testing.
  • Coordinate effectively with all IT partners and instruments for best‑in‑class solution implementations.
  • Work directly with multiple stakeholders and handle multiple tasks simultaneously from a technical perspective.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend best‑practice improvements to streamline and harmonize globally.
  • Demonstrate and explain the functionality outcomes of solution implementations.
  • Document Knowledge Base docs, SOPs, solutions, and guidelines for local and global teams.
  • Ensure standard documentation (SDD, configuration tracker, deployment checklists, change requests, testing, ITQM, SIS/SIP) is documented and continuously maintained.
  • Use CI/CD processes to streamline and integrate with Agile delivery.
  • Follow best practices in every stage of the SDLC and maintain consistent architecture practices using IT operating model and EA frameworks.
  • Collaborate with peers across multiple locations globally (BMS and service providers).
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any technology field/subject.
  • 3 years of total IT experience in software development, administration, and support.
  • 2 years of hands‑on experience in Veeva/Vault CRM configuration and minor customization (security models, profiles, objects, pages, UIX design, components, workflows, triggers, flows, SSO, permission sets, reports/dashboards, data loader, and out‑of‑the‑box integrations).
  • 2 years of experience in software development life cycle methodologies (Agile), testing standards and guidelines, and cloud and native applications.
  • 1 year of experience implementing or working with Veeva My Insights or equivalent UIX wireframes.
  • At least 1 active certification in any CRM application.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Experience configuring and customizing Veeva CRM covering major CRM functionalities such as account management, product metrics, sampling, approved email, engage capabilities, product management, user & territory management, media contents, call/eMIRF recording, suggestions, surveys, and iRep configurations.
  • Prior experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry.
  • Experience developing AI‑based solutions.
  • Veeva/Vault CRM certification or deep knowledge.
  • Experience using industry‑standard Agile tooling suites (e.g., Jira) and working knowledge of requirement grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, task creation, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with a broad matrix team and influence others to achieve results.
Compensation Overview

Princeton – NJ – US: $65,790 – $79,722 (starting compensation range). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Eligibility for specific benefits may vary by job and location.
