Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Power BI & Fabric Developer / Senior Data Engineer with minimum 10+ years of experience to join our team
In this role, you will lead the Clienthitecture, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and robust SQL backend systems. The ideal candidate is a technical expert who leverages modern development practices (like Tabular Editor and Git Hub Copilot) to deliver highly secure, performant, and scalable data models.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Analytics & Data Modeling:
Design, build, and optimize scalable end-to-end data pipelines and advanced star-schema data models using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Security & Governance:
Implement enterprise-grade security protocols within Power BI, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) to safeguard sensitive data.
Advanced Development & Optimization:
Utilize external tools like Tabular Editor for advanced BIM model management, DAX scripting, and model optimization.
Backend Database Engineering:
Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries (leveraging complex Joins, Window functions, and indexing) for seamless data integration.
Fabric Ecosystem Management:
Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (Lake houses, Data Warehouses, Data Factory, One Lake, and Direct Lake mode) to modernize data Clienthitecture.
API Integration:
Connect, extract, and ingest data from various source systems using REST APIs.
AI-Driven Productivity:
Integrate Git Hub Copilot into daily workflows to accelerate code generation, debugging, and documentation for SQL, DAX, and scripts.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Analytics.
Advanced Power BI & Modeling:
Deep expertise in Power BI Desktop/Service, advanced DAX, deployment pipelines, Advanced Data Modeling, and performance optimization.
Data Security:
Proven experience implementing RLS and OLS.
Advanced SQL:
Mastery of SQL engineering, including complex Joins, CTEs, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Microsoft Fabric:
Hands-on experience navigating and building within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Tooling & Tools:
Proficiency with Tabular Editor (for managing tabular models) and REST APIs for data integration.
Modern Development:
Experience utilizing Git Hub Copilot (or similar AI pair-programming tools) to optimize coding efficiency..
