Job DescriptionReporting to the VP Engineering, the Software Developer would be responsible for the design and implementing of overall technical architecture and operations. The role will utilize C++ and object-oriented methodologies to architect, develop robust, scalable software solutions. Focus will be on developing reusable high-performance systems and processes for high throughput, low latency applications.
Key Job Responsibilities- Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and deployment of new and existing high-volume, business critical systems.
- Contribute to software architecture, designing systems that are robust, performant, and scalable.
- Develop software using object-oriented C++ following best practices to allow for re-usability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Work with the teams and other members of the team to analyze business needs and design technical solutions and enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science; master’s degree in computer science is preferred.
- Experience with real-time, high throughput, low latency systems.
- 0-3 years of experience in a professional software development role.
- 0-3 years of experience developing in C/C++.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix.
- Experience in cloud development using Kubernetes, Helm, and/or Docker.
- Experience with scripting languages - Python preferred, Perl.
