Senior Java Developer Java & Python

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Python to design, develop, and support mission-critical, high-throughput applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development, application performance optimization, cloud environments, and database technologies. Experience using Python for automation, scripting, testing, data processing, or AI-assisted development is highly desirable.
Required Technical Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong experience with Java 17+
- 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP Web Services
- Strong Python programming/scripting experience
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Aurora
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring MVC, and Apache Camel
- Experience with Git/Subversion
- Strong understanding of application performance tuning and optimization
- Experience developing and supporting high-volume, highly transactional, mission-critical systems
- Experience with automation, scripting, and production troubleshooting
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and practices is a plus
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java-based applications.
- Build and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop REST/SOAP APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Use Python for automation, scripting, testing utilities, operational tooling, and data-processing tasks.
- Analyze application performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions for mission-critical systems.
- Work with AWS/cloud environments to develop and deploy scalable applications.
- Develop efficient database queries and work with MySQL, SQL Server, or Aurora.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Dev Ops, PMO, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and architecture.
- Support application releases, configuration management, and production deployments.
- Develop technical documentation and operational procedures.
