Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location:
Princeton, NJ (Need Local only)

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – From Day 1

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement Service Now solutions across workflows, forms, catalog items, automation, and integrations..
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer/Workflow Designer
  , custom applications, and custom tables.
• Build and support integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub
  , and third-party platforms such as Jira and Azure Dev Ops.
• Analyze upstream and downstream dependencies to ensure changes do not negatively impact existing functionality or data.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement sustainable solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and deployment activities.
• Support releases, hypercare, and post-production activities across Service Now environments.
• Follow Service Now development standards, governance, security, performance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous platform improvement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience
• Strong experience with:

• Strong Service Now integration experience with:
• REST APIs
• SOAP APIs
• MID Server
• Integration Hub
• Jira / Azure Dev Ops or similar third-party platforms
• Working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Now platform architecture
• Experience with development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in large enterprise Service Now environments

Certifications
