The Morris Hospital YMCA is seeking a dynamic and community-minded Sports Director to lead our sports department into its next chapter of growth. In this role, you won't just be managing leagues; you will be a catalyst for character development. You will oversee the high-quality implementation of programs ranging from our signature Youth Basketball League to adult sports leagues, ensuring that every participant, regardless of age or skill level, finds a place to belong and become their best self.

POSITION SUMMARYSupports, develops, organizes and implements high quality sports programming, including, but not limited to:
Youth and Adult Sports Programming and Sports Leagues including the Youth Basketball League.

- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
- One to two years related experience preferred.
- Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include: completion of:
Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; - Working with Program Volunteers; CPR;
First Aid; AED;
Bloodborne Pathogens. - Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to: bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, sit and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs. The role involves exposure to high noise levels work is performed both indoors and outdoors. While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
