Non CDL Truck Driver​/Loader

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Experience driving a box truck with automatic transmission, especially in residential neighborhoods
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Friendly and personable with strong customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL NOT required)

• Assist the Retail Operations Manager and Receiving Manager with cleaning and organizing the warehouse, loading dock, and supervising volunteers as needed
• Report to the Donations Manager and be based out of Raritan Valley Habitat for HumanityÆs ReStore in Manville, NJ
• Drive to and from locations in Hunterdon and Somerset County to assist with transportation and logistics of merchandise
• Ensure all merchandise is unloaded at the end of the day and placed on the sales floor
• Mark and identify all parts and pieces
• Communicate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure merchandise is placed appropriately and report needed repairs
• Coordinate with the Scheduling Coordinator regarding pick‑ups, truck maintenance issues, problems on the route, and delays
• Train truck helpers
• Assist in ReStore during downtime with cleaning and organizing the retail floor, warehouse, loading dock and new merchandise

  From $18.00 per hour (up to $18.00 per hour)

Monday to Friday; weekends as needed.

8 hour day shift.

Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred).
