Job Description
We are searching for qualified customer service representatives with strong customer‑service and people skills. The role involves operating equipment, preparing products, taking and processing orders both over the phone and in person, stocking inventory, completing paper work, and maintaining a clean store environment.
QualificationsMinimum age: 16 years or older.
Essential Functions and Skills- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.
Work Conditions- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to above 90°F in work areas.
- Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Standing:
Most tasks performed from a standing position. - Walking:
For short distances for short durations. - Surfaces:
Ceramic tile or linoleum in food process areas; work surface height 36"–48". - Sitting:
Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lbs, 3’×1.5’) unloaded by hand truck; cases stacked up to 72" high. - Carrying:
Large cans (≈3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lbs), trays of dough (~12 lbs each, three at a time). - Pushing:
Trays on dollies (24"–30"), up to 7.5 lbs force; trays may also be pulled. - Climbing:
Infrequent stairs or ladder use for maintenance. - Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at waist necessary at pizza assembly and front counter; duration ~30–45 sec, repeated continuously. - Crouching/Squatting:
Occasionally for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas. - Reaching:
Continuous upward, downward, forward; above 72" to turn oven controls, etc. - Hand tasks:
Continuous use of hands for shaping dough, using pizza peel and rolling cutter, pinching while assembling boxes, grasping cans, phones, cutters, and boxes.
