You'll be the go-to engineer for SCADA development, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups across Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia. If you like variety, autonomy, and seeing your work come to life in a manufacturing environment, this is your next move.
The RoleAs our Electrical Engineer, you'll own the corporate Ignition installations at every plant site. - Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs, operator interfaces, and VFDs
- Design control systems using AutoCAD Electrical
- Support equipment installations, startups, and preventive maintenance routines
- Travel to plants in VA, SC, and GA for project support (typically 25-40% travel)
- Conduct safety observations, evaluations, and audits—safety is non-negotiable
- Manage electrical projects from scope to completion, working with plant teams and management
- 2-4 year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
- 5+ years in an industrial electrical technician or engineering role
- Ignition by Inductive Automation experience or certification (required)
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming experience or training (required)
- Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in a team environment and communicating clearly with all levels
Bonus Points- Automation or robotics experience
- AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
- Preventive maintenance expertise
Compensation & Perks- $120,000 – $130,000 per year
- Quarterly bonuses (10% – 15% of salary)
