Key Responsibilities of the Travel Respiratory Therapist:
Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages in both acute and critical care settings
Assess, plan, and implement individualized respiratory therapy treatments
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilator management per physician orders
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function assessments
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor patient progress, adjust therapy as needed, and document care accurately
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards

Requirements  of the Travel Respiratory Therapist:
Active West Virginia Respiratory Therapist license or valid Compact license
CRT certification required (RRT preferred)
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting
