Position: Manager/Director – Obstetrics

$4352.00/week -

Job Summary:

The Director of Women’s Care oversees the planning, organization, and management of nursing and patient care operations within the obstetrics department. This leadership role ensures compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the delivery of comprehensive care across all age groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality patient care.
  • Manage daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure staff competency through ongoing education, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and participate in quality improvement activities and continuous performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards relevant to obstetrics care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and department performance.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid RN license and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of RN experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications (preferred).
  • Ability to manage departmental budgets and oversee compliance with healthcare regulations.
