Prineville Technology and Office Assistant (Part Time, Temporary Hourly, Non-Benefited). This position supports the Prineville campus Administrative Assistant, Classroom Streaming, and Science Lab set-up.

- Customer Service – Answer and transfer phone calls; assist students and the public with general questions at the front window.
- Streaming Technician – Stream classes from/to the Prineville campus; turn on computer, log in to streaming software, print and hand out paperwork as directed by the instructor.
- Office Duties – Distribute mail; perform entry-level office tasks (filing, copying, supply inventories); assist with troubleshooting campus technology.
- Science Lab Technician – Assist with setup of lab activities.
- Miscellaneous Duties – Support various campus projects (classroom setups, ASCOCC events, computer lab supply monitoring, copier/printer maintenance).
- Effective communication with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds.
- Conflict management and ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to perform different tasks daily.
- Reliable customer service.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency with software and systems including Microsoft Office Suite, email, website editing, basic desktop publishing, and modern office equipment.
Regular hours are 8 am – 5 pm; a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, may be required. Duties are primarily sedentary with extended workstation time. Must read and write standard materials and operate computer screens. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. All individuals must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education and Experience- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, COCC’s streaming and technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications- Currently enrolled at the Prineville campus or have taken classes there.
