What we are looking for:

ODF is looking for an Office Specialist 2 to provide administrative support for the Central Oregon District department programs. These goals and related duties are in the areas of office administration and support, performing fiscal and billing tasks, and will serve as the Forest Practices clerk. This position requires the ability to closely coordinate with other staff to provide the support needed to meet their responsibility to respective departmental objectives, agency missions, and legal mandates.

The individual in the position must be able to implement Federal, State, Department, and District policies, laws and procedures and incorporate the information into daily working situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR

An associate degree in any field; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Note:

Driver's License Check – This position requires the operation of a state vehicle for official State business. As part of the hiring process, the agency uses Advanced Reporting LLC to conduct all required DMV and CDL driving‑record checks. Advanced Reporting LLC will obtain and review the driving record for the top candidate to verify possession of a valid license and an acceptable driving record.

Salary Determination:

Per the Pay Equity Law passed in 2017, a pay equity analysis for starting salary will be conducted to determine what pay step the successful candidate will be offered.
