* This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is currently 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. A combination of shifts on a rotational basis may be possible. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.
* Occasional irregular hours and overtime during evenings and weekends may be required.
* Occasional travel, including travel during inclement weather, between the Crook County Circuit Court and the in Madras.
* Work location includes the courthouses and jail interview rooms, and may include the secure perimeter of the jails.
* Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Frequent phone and in-person contact with people who may be facing challenging life circumstances, highly stressful situations, or trauma, including people charged with violent/sexual offenses.
* Possible exposure to hostile or violent situations.
* This position works alone (without direct supervision) and within the team (with direct supervision).
* Long periods of sitting or standing.
* Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
