The Facilities & Shop Technician supports Samson Sky operations and prototype vehicle development by participating in a respectful and collaborative workplace; maintaining safe, clean, orderly, and operational facilities and shop areas; caring for tools, equipment, parts, and consumables;troubleshooting facility, shop, and prototype systems; and assisting engineering, fabrication, assembly, and R&D testing activities. The position requires a can-do mindset, adaptability, accurate documentation,practical problem solving, and consistent attention to safety, cleanliness,reliability, accuracy, and work quality.

• • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot or repair mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical systems within the employee’s training and authorization.
• • Manage maintenance and shop tools, spare parts,consumables, and inventory; identify replenishment needs and support procurement or vendor coordination when assigned.
• • Set up, operate as authorized, and maintain shop-support and fabrication equipment such as CNC machines, welders, lifts, and general fabrication tools.
