Volt is immediately hiring a Material Handler for a Data Center in Prineville, OR
.

Qualified candidates must be comfortable using computers, learning new software, and working on their feet in a physical warehouse environment.

As a Material Handler, you will:

• Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and wraps are disposed of according to company policy
• Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment
• Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized
• Operate manual or electronic/motorized material handling equipment. This equipment can include pallet jacks and forklifts
• Frequent use of computers, scanners, and mobile devices used in the shipping, receiving, and inventory processes

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30 pm

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a semi regular basis
• Able to stand and walk for most of your shift
• Able to work in a team and independently as needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Basic computer skills - Basic typing skills and understanding how to use a computer; familiarization with Apple Pages, Numbers, Keynote and/or Microsoft Suite

Preferred Candidate

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working in any of these fields.
  • Warehouse
  • Material Handling,
  • Shipping/Receiving.
• Above average knowledge of computers and technology.
• Forklift experience.

Pay Rate: $23.10 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
