Work Schedule:
8 hours per day, 176 days per year (9‑month school year)
Salary:
Based on Health Aide Agreement
RN Salary: $31.12 per hour - $33.56 per hour
LPN Salary: $27.06 per hour - $29.41 per hour

Licensed Health Support Person
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN licensure in the State of Minnesota
- Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification
- Respect for confidentiality of information
- Ability and interest in working with students, parents, school staff
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Health Services Coordinator
Performance Responsibilities- Administer first aid and episodic care in accordance with school district policy, as advised by school nurse.
- Arrange for transportation of students who become ill or are injured at school.
- Make appropriate referrals to nurse, chemical awareness counselor and other staff members as needed (i.e. pregnancy, drug use, acute chronic illness).
- Administer medication only to students having appropriate forms complete; keep accurate record of medication administered.
- As a member of the health team, be responsible for triage of information to appropriate team members.
- Maintain health-related student records.
- Be responsible for health services clerical details, including:
- Maintenance of accurate health records (i.e., initiate new/transfer student's health cards and collect, review, record and file health information - immunizations, sign history)
- Recording of screenings and physical examinations
- Prepare accident reports, confidential health lists, health history updates, parent notification forms, etc.
- Complete requisitions for health office supplies
- Issue first aid supplies to staff
- Stock first aid cabinets
- Scheduling of appointments
- Typing, filing and answering phone calls and other related functions for maintenance of an organized and effective health office
- Assist building administrator with enforcement of immunization regulations.
- Assist with screenings under the direction of the school nurse.
- Clean health office as necessary.
